TERMS & CONDITIONS

BOOKING YOUR TOUR:

Enter Ethiopia Tours has been in the traveling business for years. We know all about this business, and we have established many contacts all over the years. Our company has recognized the difficulty and hassles of booking and issuing tickets for domestic and international flights. That is why our company established its sister company AWO Travel agency. We exist, to provide you with hassle-free travel and save you precious time to book and issue your flight tickets.

a) All communications by the Company in relation to your Tour will be sent to the address stated on the booking form

b) All bookings must be made through an authorized representative of the Company. At the time of booking the Company booking form must be completed and submitted together with a deposit of 30% of the total cost of the booking.

c) Receipt of the deposit and booking form by the Company does neither guarantee nor imply confirmation of the booking. No booking shall be confirmed until the Company issues a  written notice.

d) Your Tour must be paid in full at least 30 days before the departure date. If payment is not received by the due date, the Company reserves the right to cancel the booking and retain the deposit.

e) It is the responsibility of individual clients to ensure that they are in possession of a valid passport, visa if required, and any necessary health, vaccination, or inoculation certificates.

f) If you book within 30 days of your departure date payment must be made in full at the time of booking.

g) The Company will provide the service as set out and confirmed in writing.

PRICE POLICY

a) The Company is under no obligation to endow a breakdown of the costs involved in a Tour.
b) After a Confirmation Invoice has been issued, unless you choose to pay for your tour in full at the time of booking, the price of your tour is subject to the possibilities of surcharges in certain limited circumstances. However, a surcharge will only be imposed to allow for variations in transportation cost, fuel coast, published airfares, exchange rate applied to the particular package, the government or regulatory body introduce an increase of taxes.
Enter Ethiopia Tour reserves the right to notify you 40 days before commencement of the Tour.
c) Optionally, you may choose to pay for your Tour in full at the time of booking, in which case your Tour price will be fixed at the cost quoted by the Company at the time. To qualify for this benefit you should return the Confirmation Invoice to the Company with full payment to reach the Company within 7 working days of the date printed on the Confirmation Invoice.

CANCELLATION AND CHANGES BY ENTER ETHIOPIA TOUR

Occasionally it may be necessary to make changes to your Tour or cancel. And Enter Ethiopia Tour reserves the right to do so at any time, and you will be notified of any changes at the earliest possible opportunity.
a) Enter Ethiopia Tour reserve the right to make changes or cancel your tour if changes or cancellations caused by Acts of God (Force Majeure), war, threat of war, riot, civil strike, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural or man-made disaster, fire, technical problems to transport, closure or congestion, strikes or other industrial action, adverse weather conditions or any other event beyond the Company’s control.
b) If you fail to pay the balance of the Tour price at least 30 days before departure, the Company will treat the booking as cancelled and levy the cancellation charges set out below.

CANCELLATION AND CHANGES BY CLIENTS

a) You may change or cancel your Tour at any time providing you notify Enter Ethiopia Tour in writing. The following charges will be levied on any cancellation:

30 days or more prior to departure date of confirmed bookings 10% of the total Tour Price
15 – 29 days before commencement of the Tour 20% of the total Tour Price
5 – 14 days before commencement of the Tour 50% of the total Tour Price
1 – 4 days before commencement of the Tour 100% of the total Tour Price
b) After the itinerary is confirmed, the client is permitted free of administration charges one set of amendments, though will be liable for any added cost this may add to the tour, including airline charges, hotels etc.

OUR RESPONSIBILITIES

a) The staff of Enter Ethiopia Tour will conduct every Tour as agreed with every individual client to the best of their ability. If despite this you have any complain during the Tour, contact the Enter Ethiopia Tour office in Addis Ababa as quickly as possible so we can do our best to solve the problem(s).
b) The Company is not responsible if you or any member of your party suffer death, illness or injury as a result of any failure to perform or improper performance of any part of our contract with you.
c) Although we only make use of safe and well insured cars and other materials and every possible care is taken to safeguard our clients and their properties, Enter Ethiopia Tour cannot be held responsible for any delay to your luggage, loss or harm of personal goods, consequences of sickness, accidents or calamities.
d) Enter Ethiopia Tour will use its best efforts to give general assistance where appropriate as an agent for our clients in dealing with third parties and in cases of need such as theft, sickness, injuries or other calamities. All claims are subject to the jurisdiction of the court of Ethiopia.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. a) It is the responsibility of individual clients to ensure that they are in possession of a valid passport, visa if required, all necessary documentation, and any necessary health vaccination or inoculation certificates. The Company accept no responsibility for any delay or expense should your documents not be in order
    b) You are responsible for arranging your own good travel- and health insurance.

FLEXIBILITY

The client appreciates and acknowledges that the nature of this type of travel requires considerable flexibility and should allow for alternatives. The outline itinerary as given for each tour must therefore be taken as an indication only of what each group may accomplish and not as a contractual obligation on the part of the company. It is understood that the route, schedules, itineraries, amenities and mode of transport may be subject to alteration without prior notice due to local circumstances or events, which may include sickness or mechanical breakdown, flight cancellations, strikes, events emanating from political disputes, climate and other unpredictable or unforeseeable circumstances.
We also consider flexibility in all possible circumstances to satisfy client’s interest by welcoming any request from clients during the tour.

SMOKING

  1. The Company forbids smoking in any vehicle operated by the Company. Frequent stops can be arranged for those who desire to smoke.
